Hi! My name is Kendall Bierman. My journey to becoming a therapist began in my childhood. I have struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember. When I reached college, I coped with my anxiety through alcohol. Quickly, what was supposed to be the "best four years of my life" turned into the most challenging years of my life. Throughout my college years, I saw a therapist who met me where I was, both mentally and emotionally. She supported me until I was ready to make the necessary behavioral changes. When I graduated from college, I underwent treatment and achieved sobriety, all with the support and encouragement of my individual therapist. While in therapy, I came to the realization that I was meant to help others. If I could recover, then so can others. And through my own experience, as well as eight years of schooling and professional training, I will do my utmost to help others experience a life free from mental suffering.

Welcome to Kendall Bierman Therapy

Embrace the journey of self-discovery and growth. Seeking therapy is the first step towards a brighter tomorrow. Your story matters, and I'm here to listen without judgment.

At KendallBTherapy, I aim to meet each of my clients where they are in their healing journey. Change is scary. I don’t expect any of my clients to meet with me once or twice and then start making drastic changes in their lives. The Transtheoretical model suggests that people move through 6 stages of change. If you’re just beginning therapy, you’re probably in the 1st (pre-contemplation) or 2nd (contemplation) stage of change. It takes time and work to move from one stage to the next. Whether you’re ready to make a change tomorrow or unsure when you’ll be prepared to do so, I am here to meet you where you are. Let’s work together to figure out what you’re struggling with, why you’re struggling with it, and develop strategies to manage or overcome them effectively.

I primarily work with young adults experiencing a range of symptoms, such as anxiety, substance misuse, relational issues, body image concerns, and support for those with loved ones engaging in substance abuse.

I’m here to work with you exactly where you are in your personal journey. Click here to chat with me more so I can learn how I can best support you.
